Mac OS X 10.6.1 (Snow Leopard)

I finally got the upgrade for Snow Leopard about a couple of hours ago from a store here in Puerto Rico called Smart Technology. It's the only place in the whole western area I think that sells Apple stuff... at least it's the only place I know! XD Anyway, the visual changes aren't remarkable, and it's really not that different from Leopard, except for a few things. It works a lot faster, not just "it looks faster, I guess..." more like "whoa! much, much faster" and as if leopard wasn't fast on it's own. It left me with a whopping 7GB of extra space, and a happy wallet since it's really not that expensive for an upgrade. It also comes with new setting options, like the one that lets you minimize your screens into their app's logo, and it also comes equipped with what I think is called QuickTime X... not sure. Anyway, QT now let's you record your desktop and whatever you're doing on it, without having to pay 100-200 dollars-worth of said specific software, and it's pretty simple. ^_^ If you're thinking about getting it, you probably should. If you're gonna upgrade from a Leopard MacBook, I suggest you do considering the price-point really isn't that bad, but if you're gonna upgrade from a Tiger-running computer... the price-point is a little heavier for you... and maybe you should hold on to your wallet considering things aren't going that well (economically speaking). Anyway, since I can't get any more straight thoughts about this new software, Imma log off and plan on coming back again with more info on this. Also, I will be installing Windows 7 on my mac pretty soon. It's the final release version! :D Professional edition. My university supplies it to most of it's students thru Microsoft's MSDNAA or something like that. ^_^ You should check out my YouTube Chanel! :) I will be uploading a lot more videos and I hope everyone likes them! :)
