It's been quite a while now since it has been said about Apple's plan to release a Tablet PC of their own. We're still waiting for it. It was said to be a possibility that it could have been announced at the same time they announced their new iPod Touches with camera, and obviously, the camera was not added to the iPod Touch (yet) and no MacBook Tablet was seen either. There are a lot of mock ups out there, but the one in the picture is definitely one of my favorites, except for what seems to be the same OS used on the iPhone and iPod Touch, and that's something I would hate to see happening to the Apple Tablet. Something I hope to see and I think is what we'll be seeing in February or April (sometime in Spring I hope) is a fully functional Apple MacBook, with a high-definition touchscreen which switches from a full keyboard to no keyboard. A rotating screen of course (that's what I meant jic), with the touch technology of the iPhone and iPod touch, only to also include one of those pens for writing with a little more precision. A fast-enough processor (about 2.0GHz) and I hope they can fit in a DVD/CD player in there too... maybe even BluRay! In fact, they should start to include BluRay in all their computers!! Anyway, back to the MacBook Tablet, I also expect Apple to include a Solid State Drive in there along with anything else you think might be required (like at least 2Gb RAM and a 7-hour battery or maybe 8-hour). Also, integrated WebCam, microphone, and speakers is a must! There's sayings that Apple might release such technology early next year, along with updated MacBook Pro's although the case is definitely staying the same for a couple of more years to come.
