This is my first Apple computer and I've got to say the switch wasn't hard at all. I don't miss windows at all. The computer is much faster than my family's Sony Vaio which runs Window Vista. Not only that, Windows Vista ran a lot faster on my Mac than did on my Sony... still, I don't think I'll be using Windows again except for College from time to time. It has less memory than my Vaio and i do things twice as fast. And bout the switching, I was a little afraid of switching over and not being able to understand the computer, but the second you start to use it you get very comfortable and sometimes forget how to use your previous Windows OS. It is very easy to personalize, in fact, you can personalize it more than you can with a Windows Operating System. The screen is beautiful, even when it's turned off you see its beauty, and the keyboard has the letters far enough apart so you don't accidentally hit the wrong one and close enough so you don't have to move your hand around so much. The battery lasts for ever. It took me about 4 hours of YouTube watching (more or less) to finally drain its battery, and I had to put most videos in full-screen mode. Most of the videos where HD or at least HQ. So all in all, I could not be happier with my purchase. It's the right size for me since I'm in college. Small enough to be very portable, and big enough to be a full laptop.
